Donate

Thanks for considering an online donation. Giving to Grace Presbyterian Church is a great way to both celebrate the work of God in your life and also support the ministries of the church.

There are several ways to give:

Online

Give a one-time donation or set up recurring giving on our online giving portal.

Please note that Credit Card transactions incur a 2.3% processing fee whereas ACH (bank transfer) do not.

Giving on Sundays

The most common way to give is during the Sunday worship services. Many Christians historically divide their giving into weekly or monthly amounts and give them during the offering. It's a tangible way to connect giving and worship.

Text-to-Give

Now you can phone it in! We now also offer Text-to-Give for donations. The 1st time giving via TtG you will have to do a 2-min setup:

- Text a dollar amount to 84321

- Select Grace Silicon Valley from the short list

- Set up your payment method

After initial set up, simply text a dollar amount + fund to 84321 at any time and your donation will be processed. (E.g. "$20 sb" to donate $20 to the South Bay site.)

Funds
South Bay: sb
Palo Alto: pa
Diaconal Mercy Team: diaconate

TtG cannot currently be used for recurring transactions, but you can set up automatic payments on our online giving portal (information above).

Automatic Payments

Online banking accounts or systems can be set up to send checks automatically to Grace Church. Simply have them mailed to the church office.

Donate Assets

Giving assets such as stocks or bonds is a particularly tax-advantaged way to donate. If your stock is in a brokerage account, transferring is relatively easy. The only information that your broker needs to make the transfer is just our account numbers and maybe our Church's EIN:

DTC#: 0164, Code 40
Charles Schwab & Co. Inc.
211 Main Street
San Francsico, CA 94105
Account #: 77759612
Grace Presbyterian Church of Silicon Valley EIN: 94-3375692

Also, when you do make the transfer, please email James the type of stock and the amount so that it is recorded under your name and you receive the appropriate tax deduction (on our end we are unable to see the name of whom it came from). Grace Church's policy is to sell the assets after they are received so that the funds can be used for ministries.

Managed Funds

Several people used managed charitable funds to distribute their giving across many non-profit organizations. The fund handles the paperwork and makes all distribution. This method works well to transfer larger assets one time and have those distributed in smaller amounts automatically throughout the year.

You can also support Grace Church while shopping online using AmazonSmile. Shop on AmazonSmile and 0.5% of your purchase will benefit Grace.

We continue to give thanks and are humbled to see what God is doing through you all. We rejoice to see people growing in the faith, increasing their generosity, taking on burdens for the sake of others, and sharing the good news about Jesus Christ.
